The narrow canyon with steep sides was a cool respite from the heat of the day. Intricate textures covered the rock walls. Fortunately, the weather was dry. During rainy weather this canyon could be a death trap. This location doesn't show the buckled rock layers that were quite prominent in the other parts of the canyon. Panoramic photography is usually quite forgiving of moving objects within the scene. However, in this case you may notice that Mike's arm is missing in the panorama. He moved between shots and the stitching process did the best it could in that case. Additionally, the camera was horribly out of level and also part of the scene was very bright and other parts very dark. I'm surprised the panorama turned out as well as it did. |
